When Annabelle’s teeth started emerging (one after the other!) feeding times became a bit of a battle, but luckily I kept a stash of this soup in the freezer for days when her sore gums couldn’t face solid food.

Teething Soup
Ingredients
- 1 large potato, peeled and diced
- 400g tin of chickpeas, drained
- 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
- 600ml low salt chicken stock
- 1 tablespoon mixed herbs or mild curry powder
- 1 cup (108g) fresh mixed vegetables
Instructions

In a saucepan, simmer all of the ingredients for 1 hour and then mash until smooth, or blend in a food processor

Serve once cooled.
Notes
This recipe makes a lot of this soup, so it is ideal for batch freezing in single portions divided across freezer bags or tupperwares, ready for those teething days!
