Peanut Butter & Banana Chocolate Heaven!

This scrumptious treat really is a chocoholics heaven! It might look naughty but if you choose to make it with spelt flour and Truvia it’s really rather guilt free! Ideally I would hold off giving this to your baby until they reach 12 months due to the caffeine in the cacao powder but it’s entirely your decision.

Peanut Butter & Banana Chocolate Heaven!

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup plain yoghurt (soya for CMA)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter plus 4 TBSP to drizzle or spread on top
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • 1/2 cup (110 grams) rapadura sugar or 1/4 cup Truvia
  • 2 cups wholemeal spelt flour or wholemeal plain flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup cacao powder

Method

  1. Heat oven to 180Β°C and grease 2 x 12 hole muffin tin or 1 x 12 muffin tin and small baking dish (to make a slice)
  2. Blitz bananas, eggs, yogurt, oil, 1/2 cup peanut butter, vanilla bean paste, rapadura sugar and cacao powder in your food processor
  3. Sift in flour and baking powder and pulse again until combined
  4. Pour mix into muffins tins/ or muffin tin and baking dish
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes
  6. Drizzle extra peanut butter on top or spread like icing
